Midseason. A best landscaper. Semidouble; beautifully formed
bowl, rich baby ribbon pink petals are typically graded smaller
inward, although the center may be full in some seasons; creamy, pale
yellow stamens are interspersed at center. Mild fragrance.
Medium-tall bush. A fine addition to the short list of medium pink
semi-doubles. Seeds, pollen scarce. Honorable Mention new variety,

(Auten 1933) Lactiflora. Late. A best landscaper.
Japanese form; bright, light red petals of a hue unusual in a
Lactiflora cultivar surround a large center of predominantly yellow
staminodes which are streaked with the same red, a very appealing
color effect. Color holds well in sun. Tall, broad bush, strong
flower stems well clothed in foliage. Prolific, excellent performer.

Early Hybrid.
Early. Japanese to
near Anemone flower form. Petals a bright, deep red-purple,
surrounding a large center of red-purple staminodes streaked with
yellow. Both the coloring and the partial doubling are rare in Early
Hybrids. Strong grower, but stems spread widely, making support
preferable if to be flowered in a viewed landscape. Produces seeds,
has interesting breeding possibilities on account of the doubling and
