2008 American Peony Society Convention in Bloomington, Minnesota For those of you looking for a great experience in the peony domain, join us at the APS convention this year in Minnesota, June 6th, 7th, and 8th. Touring of local peony gardens, commercial nurseries, a peony flower show, seminars, banquet, and an auction of rare peonies and other peony memorabilia, makes this a stellar weekend that is well worth the trip and experience. Spring 2008 Dear Friends,
CATALOG FORMAT – Note the change in layout from the previously used sub-sections by type. Owing to the space taken up in the increased quantity of items, only the Itoh Group cultivars are shown in a separate category. See the Alphabetical Listing, for all other items. The relative flowering time of each appears in the item description. ORDER EARLY when you know what you want. TERMS for placing orders and payment will be found elsewhere in this list. If you will have a look at those it may save time for both of us. We have a few 2008 orders in hand at this writing and normally see additional orders within days of when our first mailing goes out. As in previous years the available stock will be reserved on paid orders until exhausted. When you know items you want, do send your order right away – you may add items later as you wish. ORDER FORM information as printed here should be supplied whether or not you use the actual form. For telephone, fax or e-mail orders, please give the requested contact information so that we have the necessary means of reaching you quickly when needed and that we have your correct delivery address. Electronic CREDIT CARD PAYMENT is available for those who can receive e-mail. Submit your order as usual, with the notation you wish to pay by credit card. You will then be invoiced through our PayPal account. This procedure does not require you have your own PayPal account. We are pleased to add this convenience for our customers. CONFIRMATION INVOICES WILL BE SENT. PLEASE REVIEW COMPLETELY to verify everything has been entered correctly in our preparation and shipping control system. Projected SHIP DATE appears in the line of boxes just above the ordered items. Please know that if our ACTUAL SHIP DATE is different, expect it to be earlier than shown. Do let us know if you see a problem as these ship dates guide our preparation of items from the field. We are pleased to announce the peonies we have
for 2008 autumn shipment. Our field plants look great for this year, the
best prospects for yield since the drought cycle began in year 2000.
Other sorts frequently offered are not included, being of small numbers in
the 2008 crop. At the same time there are new choices and several that
have not been listed in recent years. We invite you to read our
information and item descriptions. When you determine to place an order
we are doubly pleased and grateful!
