I planted a division in 2005; had 3 blooms the following spring (2006), and number of blooms has at least doubled each subsequent year. This is a very striking flower: rich, deep(not dark),bright red blooms with no purple cast; large but not overly-tight bomb/double shape; and my stems have not needed support. No negatives - highly recommended!

The best bomb-double red in my opinion. Not as large as Command Performance, but the bush retains a better shape and it is more floriferous. Very healthy and doesn't need any support. Taller than Red Charm and definitely more rewarding (more reliable and more flowers that hold longer). One of the very best peony varieties around, thus highly recommended.
