Bloom period: Late Midseason
Bloom week: 5 & 6
Flower form: Double
Height: Medium
USDA zone: 2 to 8

Fragrant, full double; large, opens bright ruby red, flower of good substance. Good plant habit, quite vigorous, grows a stately bush of medium height. Stems stand erect and hold up flowers well. Great show, this is one of the peonies to which visitors tend to gravitate in the field. A strong grower that seems to tolerate all of the adversity our Midwest climate provides, without noticeably diminishing its performance.
